There is something you must carry out this year. It’s not that it’s been done incorrectly, but we’ve set date for camp and we’ve gone out. There are times we hold conferences and go into that field. I’m not saying that it is bad or wrong. But now you must lead the believers into new sort of camp. So what is this “different” type of camp? This is what I would do if I were to go back in time, but I would set one specific location and go in for a year. There is a vast difference between abrupting somebody and meeting with them throughout the year. Now if we suddenly go into camp, all of the sudden works begin to arise. We may be shocked by that. But with a passage of time, fruits that bear as a result is very small. Because they are very few, later on, we have converse taking place in life. We need to do that as well, realistically we have to be centered around church pastors and need to go into the field next year. This is the same overseas as well. Then let’s take a look at the Bible.
Three Sabbaths. For three months, for two years. This also comes out in Acts 19 as well as Acts 28. It’s full force entering into this. Within that, many great answers abound. So of course, we’ll see fruits, but also see we’ll see a multitude of answers as well. That’s very important. It doesn’t matter what kind of work you are in. So no matter what kind of situation it is, it does not matter. What’s more important is fruits and evangelism bear but the individuals start to receive strength and all the believers also gain strength. What’s even more important is that the fruits that bear are great in number. You must catch hold of that and you must share with others. Even if you don’t research deeply, it is possible. So for example, I was going out to many different fields and I began to penetrate into industrial complexes. So I call the pastors like Pastor Baek Wonnkyu and told him to go into the field next year. He caught on and he got a job there. If there was no opposition arose in the region of Busan (southern part of South Korea, seaport region), a great works would have continued to arise in the factory. Actually, there was a church right next to the company complex that was operated by Pastor Chang. He was angry and enraged that all the believers went to this regional church. I’ll give you another example. It’d be great if I go out and evangelize, but there are people who want to evangelize. Moreso than they do not want to evangelize, but they are not fully prepared to evangelize. And when these people go into camp, of course, they experience these works to arise many times, but when they actually go into camp, of course, they can experience these works to arise at the same time. There are many times they experience what is detrimental unto them.
So what’s important for that timeframe of that, if we continue to do this at that time, we see these tremendous works to arise. Then what should we do if we want to carry out? It means that God has to prepare my vessels as well. So until now, the camps are not wrong or they have not gone bad, but we’ve abruptly have gone in and lead them to accept Jesus and say “come to our church”. But now, we must sincerely pray and we must receive real answers to prayers. This year, there is something for you to share the message. So now, for our evangelism, what Reverend Hwang can do is instead of finding legal dispute matters, but finding the field in that city and pastors and church officers find the church. That is evangelism. You don’t even need a building for that. You don’t even need to spend a lot of time and money. Then teams that do only evangelism will gather there. If you continue to do this for over a year, a tremendous thing will happen. But with one small mistake, we may waste all of our time and waste all our money and do not have realistic fruits bear. So that’s most frustrating. Anyone could do this. Just wait and see.
I am not the type of person who can go and start to speak with people. I am that type of personality, even if I am at one place, I won’t even speak a word. So it is hard for me to go somewhere and speak with people. I went to Dongah university for a year and I saw a tremendous answer of “system”. I received so much grace from that. It’s precisely that. So for about a few months, I went into the field and core members in the field are inside of this ministry. I received grace from that. I continued the evangelism movement and Word movement for a very long time to a set particular field and hundreds of disciples arose. Those disciples are now adults and they are continuing the ministry. How important is that? So it’s this.
There are three purposes. The reason why we are doing this. So that you can make everyone hear. That is our goal and that is God’s plan. And what else? So they can hear the accurate Gospel. How can you know that you can receive the Gospel or “you need to accept Jesus and you need to come to church”? With this, you must end ministry. Help them to follow works of the Word and continue the ministry. In some ways, you don’t need your region or you don’t even need disciples. Just follow the works of the Word. Only then you can go out into the other field. There are so many countless answers to that. People in the world say that “we need money, but if there is growth and revival, that is the simple matter altogether”. If you have church growth in your own churches, you don’t even need to worry about these matters. If there is no growth in the church, we will always be consumed by the worries. This is what happens to the people.
That’s not a concern if your church revives and full growth arises in the church, this is what we need to focus on this year. To what extent is that goal? How must we gather? We must make it to the point all people can hear. So they can hear the Gospel accurately. And among the many people who are saved, you must help them to follow the Word. Then in order to see how must we do this and pursue this?
It’s not evangelism Paul began with. How important is that? Only then you can understand Acts chapter 4 – compelled by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit leads them to meet. The place the Holy Spirit leads. How can we find that? That’s why Paul first began to do first. Not evangelism but fasting instead. This does not mean to have fasting prayer. But as a result of this, amazing answer coming to hear the Gospel took place. Acts 17 – three Sabbaths. Acts 16, even when the doors closed, even that is the camp. Even inside of that, the answers come. If we don’t do this and fruits don’t bear, we get so discouraged. But if you do this and fruits don’t bear, you will still be in strength. Acts 18- says every Sabbath. So he was continuously going in and for two years. These kinds of answers come out. Make everyone hear. So make a plan and instruct someone to do this so that this can take place.
What is the greatest answer of all? The works of life. All people will be revived through this. And inside of that, the accurate Gospel. Mt.Calvary, the Mount of Olives and Mark’s Upper Room. The accurate answer – the day of the Pentecost. And that third hour of prayer. The ninth hour of prayer; three in the afternoon. We see Acts 17, the Gospel of Paul proclaimed. He preached the Gospel. It is to say that “Jesus is the Christ!” But unlike God, he does not speak about different level altogether. Because he testified the fact that, why Jesus must be the Christ? What that means is that he testified they reason why this person needs the Christ. That he demonstrated why Jesus ought to be the Christ. The fact that this person receives the mission comes the evidence for that. It’s the most accurate Gospel. We need these things.
That everything will follow into that Word. When that happens, you can see as the conclusion of that. It’s the continuation of that. It doesn’t just end with that. Acts 6 – the Words begin to arise throughout the region. Acts 8- they meet with one heart and spoke with one heart. Acts 11:19, the works arose and even through tribulation, they experienced the works of the Words. We skipped one. Acts 7:1-6 Stephen staked his life to preach this Gospel. If you are within that, you don’t need to be concerned with anything else than that.
I once thought this to myself. So going into General Assembly denomination I visited, I also thought perhaps politics is essential. If these general assembly officers of this general assembly were to care for the church politics and focus on evangelism camp, then great works arise. How? Just do it this way. Even among these members, there are people I need to evangelize. All you need to do is connect these people together. There are many reverends who have interest in evangelism. Even if you just focus on that, the church politics means to do evangelism camp. Right now, there are so many denominations fighting. Then the journalists are only focused on that. Because they only focus on that, they don’t understand the heart of the matter. They would say, Christianity is the problem. What they say is that “the Christianity must disappear from the earth”. That’s how they misunderstand. Inside of them, there is this amazing work of life movement begin to fully arise. Pastors you must remember.
when you commission them out, you need to tell them. “Do not concern yourselves with fruits”. Receive grace. And how much evangelism you need to carry out, that is the secondary matter. Truly carry out the evangelism movement here. If you just leave them that way, that person will be revived. This year, your churches must be revived. If the church is not revived, that also does not matter. Let us pray.
God, this year, as the Word movement arise, save the churches in this field. In doing so, may your true healing continue to abound. May all churches in Yewon church arise so that all the metropolitan region can hear the accurate Gospel. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
