1/I want you to know how hard I am contending for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me personally.
2/ My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,
3/ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4/ I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.
5/ For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how disciplined you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.
6/ So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,
7/ rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

5/ 이는 내가 육신으로는 떠나 있으나 심령으로는 너희와 함께 있어 너희의 규모와 그리스도를 믿는 너희 믿음의 굳은 것을 기쁘게 봄이라
6/ 그러므로 너희가 그리스도 예수를 주로 받았으니 그 안에서 행하되
7/ 그 안에 뿌리를 박으며 세움을 입어 교훈을 받은대로 믿음에 굳게 서서 감사함을 넘치게 하라

1. All treasures are hidden in Christ.
(Col2:2) “My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ”
(Col2:3) “in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”
1) There is wisdom in Christ
(1Cor1:24) “Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.”
2) There is knowledge in Christ
(Phil3:8) “because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord”
3) There are all treasures in Christ
4) The hidden things determine the course of everything.
2. I must know the deception of Satan that makes us stray away from following Christ.
1) Crafty words of people
(Col2:4) “I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.”
2) Philosophy and human tradition
(Col2:8) “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.”
3) Legalism
(Col2:16) “Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.”
(Col2:17) “These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.”
4) Mysticism
(Col2:18) “Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind.”
5) Asceticism
(Col2:23) “Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.”
6) People’s commands and teachings
(Col2:21-22) “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings”

1) Christ is the Creator God
(Col1:16) “For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.”
2) Christ is the firstborn of all creation
(Col1:18) “And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy”
3) Christ made peace through His blood shed on the cross
(Col1:20) “and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.”
4) Christ is the fullness of divinity
(Col2:9) “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form”
5) I must be brought to fullness in Christ
(Col2:10) “and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority”
6) I must live my life in Christ
(Col2:6) “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him”
7) I must be rooted down in Christ

2.그리스도를 따르지 않는 사단의 속임수를 알아야 합니다
1)교묘한 사람의 말
(골2:4) “내가 이것을 말함은 아무도 교묘한 말로 너희를 속이지 못하게 하려 함이니”
2)철학과 사람의 전통
(골2:8) “누가 철학과 헛된 속임수로 너희를 사로잡을까 주의하라. 이것은 사람의 전통과 세상의 초등학문을 따름이요, 그리스도를 따름이 아니니라.”
3)율법주의
(골2:16) “그러므로 먹고 마시는 것과 절기나 초하루나 안식일을 이유로 누구든지 너희를 비판하지 못하게 하라”
(골2:17) “이것들은 장래 일의 그림자이나, 몸은 그리스도의 것이니라”
4)신비주의
(골2:18) “아무도 꾸며낸 겸손과 천사 숭배를 이유로 너희를 정죄하지 못하게 하라. 그가 그 본 것에 의지하여 그 육신의 생각을 따라 헛되이 과장하고”
5)금욕주의
(골2:23) “이런 것들은 자의적 숭배와 겸손과 몸을 괴롭게 하는 데는 지혜 있는 모양이나 오직 육체 따르는 것을 금하는 데는 조금도 유익이 없느니라”
6)사람의 명령과 가르침
(골2:21-22) “붙잡지도 말고, 맛보지도 말고, 만지지도 말라 하는 것이니이, 모든 것은 한때 쓰이고는 없어지리라. 사람의 명령과 가르침을 따르느냐”
3. 그리스도 안에 뿌리를 박으라
1)그리스도는 창조주입니다
(골1:16) “만물이 그에게서 창조되되 하늘과 땅에서 보이는 것들과 보이지 않는 것들과 혹은 왕권들이나 주권들이나 통치자들이나 권세들이나 만물이 다 그로 말미암고 그를 위하여 창조되었고”
2)만물의 으뜸이신 그리스도
(골1:18) “그는 몸인 교회의 머리시라 그가 근본이시요 죽은 자들 가운데서 먼저 나신 이시니 이는 친히 만물의 으뜸이 되려 하심이요”
3)십자가의 피로 화평을 이루신 그리스도
(골1:20) “그의 십자가의 피로 화평을 이루사 만물 곧 땅에 있는 것들이나 하늘에 있는 것들이 그로 말미암아 자기와 화목하게 되기를 기뻐하심이라”
4)신성이 충만한 그리스도
(골2:9) “그 안에는 신성의 모든 충만이 육체로 거하시고”
5)그리스도 안에서 충만해야 합니다
(골2:10) “너희도 그 안에서 충만하여졌으니 그는 모든 통치자와 권세의 머리시라”
