Church Officers Sit Down to Communicate about the New Church Building
Elder Bruce, the Chief Committee officer of the church constructions, reminded the church officers,
“We can go over all the details, but we have to remember that it was God who brought us into the Manhattan sanctuary.”
Elder Lee, the head of the accounting department, noted we have about $3,500 weekly offerings and have about 50% expenditures. As such, we have about $7,000 per month as cashflow. Deacon Eddie informed us about the commercial brokers who could help us scout a place.
Other logistics were discussed such as 1. budget, 2. location, and 3. strategy. We concluded that we will search for a place within Manhattan first, then we will look further in the outer boroughs.
The main priority is to have at least three rooms for young remnants, church officers, and church member.
To have fluid communication, the church building committee will sit down together over the lunch on a bi-weekly basis to update each other.
We pray that we experience God’s hands working upon this church and He is the creator; both riches and honor come from Him. As the body of Christ, we pray that we are within the Covenant and be able to relay our faith to young remnants through this process.
