Those who are Persecuted because of righteousness (Matt 5:10-12)
8 Sermon on the Mount for Disciples
1) (Matt5:3) “Poor in Spirit – for theirs is the kingdom of heaven”
2) (Matt5:4) “who mourn, for they will be comforted”
3) (Matt5:5) “Meek-for they will inherit the kingdom”
4) (Matt5:6) “who hunger in thirst – for they will be filled”
5) (Matt5:7) “merciful- for they will be shown mercy”
6) (Matt5:8) “pure in heart – for they will see God”
7) (Matt5:9) “peacemaker – for they will be called sons of God.”
1. Three Persecutions
1) Matt 5:10 – Persecuted because of righteousness
2) Matt 5:11 – Persecuted because of me (Jesus)
3) Matt 5:12 – Persecuted the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you
2. Three Blessings
1) Heaven is yours
(Matt5:10) for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
(Phil3:20) Citizenship is in heaven
2) Reward in Heaven
(Matt5:12) great is your reward
(Dan12:3) Evangelist – shine like the brightness of heavens , like the stars for ever and ever.
3) Blessings of Prophets
(Matt5:12) great is your reward
(Matt10:41) “receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward”
(Matt10:42) “anyone who gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my(Jesus’) disciple”
<Conclusion>
Matt 5:12 – persecuted the prophets who were before you
1) Those who give time for the Gospel – Blesses your health
2) Those who give life because of the Gospel – blesses your future generations
3) Those who give material for the Gospel – blesses your finances
4) Persecution completes God’s timetable.

3)(마5:5)-“온유한 자-땅을 기업으로 받은 것”
4)(마5:6)-“의에 주리고 목마른 자-배부를 것”
5)(마5:7)-“긍휼히 여기는 자-긍휼히 여김을 받는 자”
6)(마5:8)-“마음이 청결한 자-하나님을 볼 것”
7)(마5:9)-“화평하게 하는 자-하나님의 아들”
<본론> 의를 위하여 박해를 받은 자
1. 세가지의 핍박
1)의를 위하여 박해를 받는 자(마5:10)
2)나(예수)로 말마암아 박해를 받는 자(마5:11)
3)올바른 선지자들이 받은 박해를 받는 자마5:12)
2. 세가지 축복
1)천국이 그들의 것
(마5:10) 천국을 소유한 자
(빌3:20) 천국 시민권
2)하늘의 상급
(마5:12) 하늘에서 너희 상이 큼이라
(단12:3) 전도자-하늘의 별과 같은 영원한 축복
3)선지자의 축복
(마5:12) 선지자의 상급
(마10:41) 전도자(선지자)을 영접하는 자
(마10:42) 그리스도의 제자에게 냉수 한 그릇을 주는 자
<결론> 너희 전에 있던 선지자들도 이같이 박해 하였느니라(마5:12)
1)복음때문에 시간을 드리는 자-건강의 축복
2)복음때문에 인생을 드리는 자-후대를 축복
3)복음때문에 물질을 드리는 자-경제의 축복
4)박해(핍박)는 하나님의 시간표를 이룬다
