하나님이 예비하신 일꾼

(행9:15)


But the Lord said to Ananias, "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel.

주께서 이르시되 가라 이 사람은 내 이름을 이방인과 임금들과 이스라엘 자손들에게 전하기 위하여 택한 나의 그릇이라(행9:15)

 

       

2017년도 마지막 12월달이다. 특별히 12월달에는 하나님의 말씀으로 나를 점검하는 시간 되길 축원한다. 


여러분 어떡하면 나를 알수 있고 나를 점검할수있냐?

여러분 나를 창조하시고 만드신 분이 하나님이시다 그렇다면 우린 하나님의 말씀 앞에서 나를 점검하면 된다. 여러분 우리가 미국에 와있다 세상의 지식과 말에 속으면 안된다 여러분 신앙생활의 기준을 정확하게 알고 있어야 한다. 내가 지금 가는길이 하나님이 원하시는길이 맞는가? 그 기준이 무엇이냐? 성경이 하나님 말씀에 기준이다. 내 신앙생활의 기준은 오직 하나님의 말씀이다. 복음만이 진리다. 여러분 우리가 사람의 말 들어야 하지만 사람의 말 진리가 아니다. 여러분 우리 한번밖에 없는 인생 얼마나 소중하냐 오늘 말씀으로 나를 점검하는 축복의 시간되길 축원한다. 


임마누엘 교회가 하나님이 원하시는 교회가 맞는가? 어떻게 하면 알수 있냐 교회의 기준이 있다. 어느 교회가 하나님이 만드신 교회인가?성경에 보니 그게 예수님이 세운 초대교회다. 이땅에 정확한 교회의 시작은 2천년전에 예수님께서 복음을 주시고 교회를 시작하셨다. 우리가 지금 그 교회의 시작이요 교회의 응답인 사도행전을 보고 있다 우리가 사도행전 통해서 나를 점검하고 지금 교회를 점검하고 있다. 그런 시간표 속에서 행9장 말씀을 보고 있다.  


오늘 행9:15말씀은 아나니아라는 전도자를 통해서 최고의 전도자 바울에게 준 말씀이다. 이 사람은 내 이름을 이방인과 임금들과 이스라엘 자손들에게 전하기 위하여 택한 나의 그릇이라. 전도자 아나니아는 잘 몰랐다. 하나님꼐서는 바울을 시대적인 중요한 일꾼으로 준비해놨는데 잘 몰랐다. 왜냐하면 사울이 교회를 핍박하고 전도자를 핍박하는 사람이였기 떄문이다. 여러분 내 주위에 있는 사람 보면 우리가 저 사람이 일꾼이 아니라고 볼수도 있다. 어떤 때 는 내가 내 자신을 봐도 나는 하나님이 준비하신 일꾼이 아니라고 착각 할수도 있다. 그렇게 은혜받은 아나니아도 잘 몰랐다. 그런데 우리 주님께서 아나니아에게 말씀 하신다. 

두려워 하지 말고 가라 이 사람은 이방인들 다민족과 임금들과 렘넌트를 세우기 위한 택한 나의 그릇이라고 한다. 아나니아는 잘 모르지만 주님의 말씀에 순종하는 사람이였다ㅏ. 그래서 오늘 말씀은 하나님이 예비하신 일꾼이다 누가 하나님이 준비하신 일꾼인가? 진짜 내가 하나님이 택한 그릇이 맞는가?여러분 하나님꼐서 부르신 일꾼이 맞냐? 옆에 있는 분들 한번 질문해봐라. 진짜 하나님이 택하신게 맞냐? 


저는 행9:15 말씀이 제게 딱 맞다고 확신한다. 하나님의 나를 이방인 다민족을 위해서 주님이 택하셨구나 믿는다. 첨엔 저도 아닌줄 알았다. 아무리 이방인 다민족 만나도 변화 안 일어나더라. 그런데 그게 시간표가 있다. 요즘 보니까 하나님께서 계속 다민족 목사님들 만나고 목사님들이 복음때문에 동역자 되고 변화되고있다. 파키스탄 목사님들이 복음떄문에 하나되고 변화되고 이번에 한국 선교대회때 파키스탄 목사님 3명이 같이 나간다. 


여러분 우리가 살고 있는 미국은 237개국 이 와있다 여러분 복음을 가진 목사 하나가 바뀌면 그 나라가 바뀌는것이다 우리 임마누엘 교회 통해서 다민족들이 지금 복음속으로 들어오고 있음을 믿으시길 바란다. 하나님께서 저와 여러분을 택한 그릇으로 부르신줄 믿는다. 


자 그렇다면 누가 하나님이 예비하신 일꾼인가? 내가 과연 그 사람이 맞는가? 누가 하나님이 택하신 일꾼인가 ?


1. 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 꺠달은 사람

진짜 복음 꺠달으면 변화가 일어나는것이다. 

복음과 종교는 다르다 전 복음 모르고 종교생활 20년 했다. 그러다가 24년전에 복음 깨달은 주의 종 만나 복음을 깨달았다 제가 복음 깨닫고 나서 미국과 전세계 다니다 보니 복음 모르는 사람 너무 많더라. 성경은 완벽하게 외우고 암송하는데 복음을 못 깨닫고 있더라. 성경 많이 알고 신학교 나오면 복음 깨달은줄 안다 그렇지 않다. 


여러분 오늘 사울, 바울이라는 인물이 나온다.  예수님 만나기 전에 바울은 본인이 제일 잘 믿는줄 알았다. 빌립보서 3장에 있는 자기를 고백한다 나는 유대인 중의 유대인이다 나는 여호와 하나님을 가장 잘 믿는 사람이다 나는 히브리인중에서도 가장 잘 믿는 히브리인이다. 유대인 중에서도 말씀과 지도자의 능력을 갖춘 사람을 바리새인으로 뽑는다. 지금 교회로 말하면 교회 중직자 장로님이라고 할 수 있다. 그 바리새인 중에서도 최고의 바리새인이다. 어느정도 하나님의 말씀을 잘 지켰는가? 나는 하나님의 율법에 흠이 없을정도로 하나님 말씀을 암송하고 지켰다고 했다. 바울은 본인이 가장 교회 생활 잘 하는줄 알았다. 그런데 바울은 되는게 없다. 그런 사람을 우리는 종교 생활 한다고 한다.


 바울에게 한계가 온다.  여러분 지금 많은 사람들이 성경도 알고 신앙생활 오래 했는데 교회 생활 하면 할수록 힘든 사람 있다. 여러분 오늘 하나님의 은혜로 복음을 깨닫고 복음을 누리길 축원한다 하나님의 절대 목표는 은혜의 복음을 깨닫고 복음의 행복을 누리는거다.  


종교는 사람이 만든거다 종교생활 하는 사람은 나로부터 출발 한다. 내가 열심히 해서 하나님 만나고 섬길려고 나로부터 시작하는게 종교다 복음은 반대다 복음은 하나님이 우리를 찾아오시는거다. 여러분 종교의 목적은 선을 행하는거다. 종교생활 하는 사람 자꾸 도 닦고 마음을 비운다고 한다. 여러분 인사중에서 마음 비우세요 이런 인사는 절대 하지 마시기 바란다. 교회 다니면서도 그런 인사 많이 한다. 마12장 보면 마음을 비우면 거기에 일곱 귀신이 마음속에 들어온다고 되어있다. 여러분 모든 종교는 조용히 앉아서 마음을 비우고 명상을 한다. 어떻게 되는줄 아냐? 마음을 비우는 순간에 악한 영이 거기에 들어가게 된다. 그래서 종교생활 하게 만든다. 종교생활은 귀신에게 붙잡혀서 귀신을 섬기는거다. 굉장히 종교생활로 열심히 노력을하고 열심을 다 한다. 그런데 종교 생활의 특징은 하면 할수록 한계가 온다.


 여러분 바울이 종교생활 할떄 얼마나 열심히 했는줄 아냐? 성경의 말씀을 완벽하게 일점 일핵까지 완벽하게 지켰다고 한다. 열심히 특심했다. 본인은 유대인이기에 예수 믿는 사람 잡아서 감옥에 넣는것이 잘 믿는줄 알았다. 얼마나 열심히 했는지 모른다 그 결과가 ? 롬7:24 ' 오호라 나는 곤고한 사람이로다. 이 사망의 몸에서 누가 나를 건져내랴 '영어론 Oh my God! 되는게 없는거다. 그렇게 지식과 성경이 능통했는데 한가지를 몰라서 그렇게 됐다.


 여러분 신앙생활이 힘든 분들 바로 점검해야 한다 아 종교생활 하고 있구나 제가 20년동안 그랬다. 열심 봉사 충성 교회 일이라면 생을 걸었다. 그런데 마음이 참 평안하지 않더라. 난 하나님의 일을 열심히 하면 하나님이 나에게 복을 주실줄 알았다 내가 교회일에 생을 걸면 우리 부모님이 구원 받고 돌아올줄 알았다 더 되는게 없더라. 한가지를 몰랐다. 하나님은혜에 복음을 깨닫지 못했다. 여러분 잘 아는 복음이지만 다시 한번 깨닫길 바란다. 


사도바울이 완전 한계에 부딪혔을 그때 주님이 사도 바울을 찾아온거다. 복음은 예수님이 여러분을 찾아오는게 복음이다. 모세가 80평생에 되는일이 없었을때 하나님이 호렙산에서 모세를 찾아오신거다. 하나님으로부터 찾아오셔서 나에게 은혜의 복음을 깨닫게 하시는거다 여러분 복음의 주인공 그리스도 만나는 순간 우리 인생이 변화되는거다. 


행9:3 

드디어 사울이 부활한 주님을 만나게 된다. 여러분 은혜의 복음 그리스도를 만나면 우리 인생의 터닝 포인트가 된다. 사도바울이 복음 모르고 열심히 하는데 갑자기 하늘에서 빛이 임한다. 도대체 이 빛이 뭘까요? 사도행전은 이 말을 갖다가 한 세번정도 계속 나온다. 

행22:6 하늘에서 큰 빛이 자기를 둘렀다고 한다. 

도대체 큰 빛이 뭘까요?

행26장 보면 해 보다도 더 밝은 빛이 자기를 둘렀다고 한다. 아그리파 왕 앞에서 자기 신앙 고백을 한다. 

내가 복음 모르고 나서 열심히 교회 핍박 하러 가는데 갑자기 해 보다도 더 밝은 빛이 나를 덮쳤다고 한다. 이 빛이 뭘까요? 이 빛의 주인공만 알면 끝이다. 


요1:9 이 빛의 실체를 얘기한다. 

참 빛 곧 세상에 와서 각 사람을 빚추는 빛이라고 한다. 참 빛 되신 예수 그리스도다! 왜 성경에서 빛으로 표현했을까요? 하나님 떠난 사람들의 영혼과 삶이 어둠에 붙잡혀 있다. 복음 모르고 종교 생활 하는 사람 지금 사단에게 잡혀있다. 절대 자기 힘으로 빠져 나올수 없다 


여러분 종교 생활 하면 3가지가 절대 해결 안된다. 종교생활은 아무리 열심히 해도 흑암과 사단의 세력을 깨트릴수 없다 아무리 착한일 많이 해도 절대로 원죄를 해결 할 수 없다 종교생활은 저주와 지옥을 해결 할수 없다. 그래서 종교 생활 하는 사람 보면 흑암에 붙잡혀 있다고 되어있다. 여러분 맨하탄 교회 오면서 뭐가 안 보이냐? 저는 매일같이 흑암과 귀신에 붙잡힌 사람 본다. 절대 다른것으로 살릴수 없다.


 참 빛되신 그리스도가 찾아오신거다. 십자가에서 모든 문제 해결하시고 부활 하신 주님이 사울을 찾아오신거다. 그 빛의 주인공이 만왕의 왕 예수 그리스도다. 부활하신 주님이 바울을 찾아오신거다. 뭘 알게하냐?예수님이 누군지 알게 하신거다. 사도 바울이 다 알고 있는데 한가지를 몰랐다 십자가에서 죽으시고 부활하신 예수만 몰랐다. 빛이 찾아오니까 거기에 바울이 완전 무릎을 꿇은거다. 주님의 음성이 들린다. 사울아 사울아 왜 네가 나를 핍박 하느냐? 여러분 뭐가 잘 안될때 정말 주님의 음성 들을때 정말 주님 앞에 무릎꿇으시기 바란다 나는 네가 핍박 하는 예수라! 사도 바울에겐 딱 한가지가 필요한거다 예수만 필요한거다. 예수를 만나면 지금까지 모든 문제가 해결 되는거다. 사도바울은 주님 만나기 전에는 흑암세력에 완전 붙잡혀 있었다. 


흑암에 붙잡힌 사람 재벌도 되고 성공도 된다 하지만 반드시 성공 이후에 바벨탑 처럼 무너진다. 예수를 모르면 종교생활이요 바벨탑이다. 그런데 주님이 찾아 오셔서 바울에게 예수가 누구신지 알려주는거다 나는 네가 핍박하는 예수라! 바울은 그리스도 라는 말을 알고 있다. 왜 구약 성경에 주인공이 그리스도다! 그리스도로 알고 있는데 그 그리스도가 예수라는거다 예수님은 흑암과 사단의 세력에서 너를 건져내신 참된 왕이라는거다. 절대로 인간이 꺾을수 없는 사단을 깨트리신 참된 왕이라고 하는거다 예수가 참된 왕이라는사실 깨닫는 순간 흑암 세력 완전히 떠나가는거다 예수님만이 모든 저주와 재앙을 해결하신 제사장이다. 거기에 바울은 완전 무릎꿇은거다 


갈보리산의 십자가의 복음 왜 예수님이 복음이냐?내가 해결 할수없는 죄, 사단, 지옥의 문제를 완전히 해결하셨다. 그래서 요19:30이 복음이다. 

예수께서 가라사대 내가 다 이루었다! 뭘 이루었냐? 구약 성경에 그리스도가 오셔서 죽으심으로 죄문제를 다 끝낸다고 하셨다. 바울은 구약성경 알고 있다. 알고있는 그 주인공이 오신거다 그분이 갈보리산의 십자가에서 실제로 저주와 죄의 문제를 다 끝내신거다. 


우리 한번 고백하자 전 이 고백할때 힘이 난다 

" 다 이루었다!"

다민족과 이 이야기 할때 흑암이 다 떠나간다. 


뉴저지 가면 필리핀에서 돈 벌로 온 사람 있다 

대부분 미국 온 사람들 경제때문에 성공하려 온다 필리핀의 그 간호사도 미국 오면 돈번다는 확신하고 왔다 10년동안 되는게 없다 복음 몰라서 한사람을 만났는데 그것도 교회에서 만났는데 죽도록 고생했다. 여러분 복음 모르는 종교생활 교회 생활 하는 사람 만나면 갑절에 갑절 고생한다. 아마 불신자라면 성공하고 놀러라도 가는데 교회 다니면 주일날 아무데도 못간다 그래도 교회 다니고 하나님 믿겠지 했는데 심각한 영적 문제 있었다 여러분 교회 안한 자매들 절대 속으면 안된다. 복음 몰라서 얘기 듣다보면 완전 속는다 교회 열심히 나오니까 믿음 좋은줄 알았다. 결혼 전에 카드 긁어서라도 열심히 한다. 결혼하고 나면 카드값 갚느라 정신없다. 그래 가지고 만났는데 10년동안 죽도록 고생했다. 그러다가 그리스도의 복음의 은혜를 가진 전도자를 만난거다. 복음만을 선포하는 전도학교에 온거다. 예수가 죄 사단 지옥의 문제를 다 끝낸 그리스도라는 이것을 깨달은거다. 

요19:30 내가 다이루었다는 이 그리스도의 완전한 복음을 깨달은거다. 딱 한번 들었는데 깨닫더라. 완전 해방되었다. 지금 쉘터에 있는데 그 쉘터에 있는 그곳에서 만나는 사람 상담해주고 영접하고 치유해주고 그 한 장소가 변화되고 있다. 


그리스도 만나면 우리의 인생 바뀌는거다. 그 필리핀에 변화된 자매를 지난주에는 복음 전하는 백인 목사님 증인으로 데려갔다 백인 목사님이 가서 자기를 간증하더라. 나는 미국에 성공하려 온 간호사였다 너무 고생했던 얘기 짤막하게 설명하고 내가 그리스도를 만나고 다 끝냈다! 얼마나 힘있게 말하는지 목사님이 아멘 아멘 하더라. 여러분 복음 아시냐? 예수는 그리스도! 모든 문제 해결자! 내가 해결 할수 없는데 그리스도께서 다 끝내셨다 그게 복음이다 내가 절대 해결할수 없기 떄문에 주님이 찾아오신거다 주님이 내 문제를 가지고 대신 죽으신거다 우리는 믿기만 하면 된다 그냥 예수님 믿엇는데 영원한 선물로 성령을 주신거다. 그냥 믿기만 하면 된다. 


엡2:8-9 바울 주님 만나고 이렇게 고백한다 복음 깨닫은 사람의 고백이다. 


너희는 그 은혜에 의하여 믿음으로 말미암아 구원을 받았으니 이것은 너희에게서 난 것이 아니요 하나님의 선물이라 행위에서 난 것이 아니니 이는 누구든지 자랑하지 못하게 함이라 "


하나님의 은혜로 인하여 구원 받았다고 했다. 바울은 믿음이 좋고 행위로 구원 받은게 아니다 하나님의 은혜로 구원 받은거다 바울은 자기 자신 잘 알고 있다 얼마나 교회와 전도자 핍박했는줄 안다 그 정도면 영원히 저주 받고 지옥가야 하는데 그런 자기를 용서 하시고 부활하신 주님이 직접 찾아오신거다 전도자 보내 복음을 깨닫게 하신거다. 


고전15:10 나의 나된것은 하나님의 은혜라고 한다 내가 다른 사도들보다 더 많이 수고헀다. 하지만 내가 한게 아니다 오직 나와 함께 한 하나님의 은혜다. 여러분 하나님의 절대 목표 복음 속으로 들어가길 축원한다. 


은혜의 복음을 꺠닫고 누리는 사람이 하나님이 원하시는 일꾼이다! 


2. 하나님이 만드신 나를 찾은 사람 


복음을 깨닫으면 하나님이 만드신 나를 찾게 된다 최고의 응답 뭐냐? 하나님이 원하시는 절대 응답? 나를 찾으라는거다. 여러분 바울이 복음 모를땐 자기를 완전히 잃어버린거다 그리스도 발견하고 자기를 발견하고 찾은거다 그게 하나님이 원하시는 절대 응답이다. 그래서 다른 사람 살리지 말고 나를 살리시고 나를 찾으시기 바란다. 자기가 왜 할례 받고 율법을 열심히 공부했는지? 아 그게 하나님의 준비였구나! 


학생들 공부 열심히 해야 한다. 세상 알고 세상을 공부해야 한다. 그러나 그것을 가지고는 사람을 살릴수 없다.  복음 모르다 보면 주님 핍박 한다. 언제 내 인생에 가장 가치를 발견하냐? 


빌립보서 3:7 내가 가장 유익하던것을 다 버리고 그리스도를 만났다고 한다. 여러분의 과거는 빨리 잊어버려라 


빌3:8 나는 뒤에있는것은 잃어버린다고 한다. 앞에 있는것을 잡으려고 위에서 오는 상을 향해 간다고 한다. 과거 상처 다 잊어버려라 미래는 하나님이 준비해두셨따 오늘 내가 은혜의 복음 말씀을 붙잡는 순간 변화 일어나는거다. 복음 깨달으면 다 끝난거다 


바울은 그리스도 복음 알고 빌3:8 고백한다

"또한 모든것을 해로 여김은 내 주 그리스도 예수를 아는 지식이 가장 고상하기 떄문이라 내가 그를 위하여 모든 것을 잃어버리고 배설물로 여김은 그리스도를 얻고 "


바울은 과거에 자랑하는 모든것을 배설물로 여겼다 필요 없다는게 아니다 내 인생 최고의 것을 발견했다는것이다. 나는 그리스도를 발견했다 그정도가 아니라 그리스도를 내가 얻었다 나는 내 생에 최고의 것을 얻었다는것이다 그러니 자기자 자랑하는 모든것을 내려 놓을수 있죠 이 사람이 진짜 자기를 발견 한 사람이다 


여러분 과거 상처때문에 넘어지지 마라 그런것도 하나님의 절대 주권속에서 다 발판이다 여러분이 그리스도를 만나고 나면 하나님의 뜻을 알게 된다 행9:15 나의 절대 사명을 깨닫게 되는거다. 진짜 내가 무엇을 위해 살아야 하냐? 한번뿐인 인생 내가 어디에 투자 해야 하냐?그걸 갖다가 진짜 알게 된다. 


헹9:15 

진짜 묵상해봐라! 

"주께서 이르시되 가라 이 사람은 내 이름을 이방인과 임금들과 이스라엘 자손들에게 전하기 위하여 택한 나의 그릇이라! "


여러분이 주님 택한게 아니다 .만왕의 왕 그리스도께서 여러분을 택하신거다. 그래서 여러분이 영적 서밋이다! 

요19:16 네가 나를 택한게 아니라 내가 너를 택했다 예수님이 여러분을 택하셨다 그래서 주님이 여러분 택한 순간부터 영적 서밋인거다 공부 통해 세상 준비하고 복음 속에서 영적 서밋으로 준비하시기 바란다. 


주님이 나를 택했구나! 왜? 큰일 3가지다!

이방인들을 살리라고 하는거다 237개국 다민족 살리라고 임마누엘 여러분 부르신줄 믿는다. 

우리는 다민족의 센터인 맨하탄 미국에 와있다. 

최고의 축복의 장소로 주님이 여러분을 데리고 오신거다 갈 것도 없이 여러분 주위에 와있다 그래서 여러분들 지역에 최고의 지도자 만나시길 바란다 진짜 복음 누리게 되면 직장에서 여러분 상사들이 여러분을 자세히 보고 있을것이다. 여러분 지역에 서 가장 탑을 만나길 축원한다 주님이 그렇게 말씀하셨다. 


전 미국와서 그걸 바꿨다 전도하러 가면 어린 아이들 만나는게 쉽지 않냐 전도자 바울 보면 총독이라던지 최고의 사람을 만나더라. 성경에 그렇게 되있더라 제가 파나마 렘넌트 선교 갔다.  거기에 한 선교사님 계신다 자기는 파나마 한 지역 가면 거기에 추장이라던지 리더를 만난다고 했다 그 사람 가슴에 품고 기도한다고 했다 그 지역에 추장 한 사람이 변화되면 다 바뀐다고 했다. 밑에서부터 늘 전도하니까 되는듯 하면서 안되더란다. 여러분 우리가 잘 안되도 성경대로 가야 한다. 오늘 성경을 보게 된거다. 나는 주님의 택한 그릇이구나! 하나님이 나를 선택받은 선교사구나 누구부터 만나야 할까? 그 지역에 대표적인 사람부터 만나는거다 이 사람이 흑암에 붙잡혀있구나 그거 꺾는것 간단하구나 오직 그리스도! 기도하니까 무너지더란다 추장 한명이 복음화 되니 그 지역이 복음화 되더란다 그래서 저도 생각을 바꿨다 237개국 대표적인 목사님 만나야겠다 그떄부터 한 나라 살릴 선교사 목회자 만나게 되었다 드디어 지난주에는 완전 백인교회의 백인 담임목사님 만나서 거기에서 복음 운동 하기로 했다. 제가 하는게 아니다 주님꼐서 하시는거다 우리 임마누엘 교회는 237개국 살리는 선교사임을 믿으시기 바란다 여러분의 직장 현장에서 최고의 탑 리더를 만나시길 바란다. 


그리고 마지막 이스라엘 자손 우리 후대 렘넌트를 가슴에 품기 바란다. 우리 임마누엘 3가지 목표다.

 모든 족속 다민족 살리는 선교하는교회  

내가 복음가진 중직자로 그 지역 살리는 중직자

우리 자녀 렘넌트 운동 하는 교회! 

그게 하나님이 예비하신 일꾼의 축복이다. 


여러분을 주님의 택한 그릇으로 주님이 부르셨다 여러분이 이 말씀 그대로 응답 받고 축복 받으시길 축원한다. 


믿음으로 고백하자 자신에게 고백하자 

" 나는 주님의 택한 그릇입니다" 성도님은 하나님이 예비하신 일꾼입니다 "


하나님 은혜의 복음속으로 날마다 들어가게 하옵소서 그리스도 안에서 나를 찾게 하옵소서 하나님의 절대 사명 뜻을 정말 알게 하옵소서!

Worker that God has prepared

Acts 9:15 “But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go this man is my chosen instrument to carry my name”

This is the last week of December 2017. I bless you to have the time of looking back. 

How can I look at myself and examine myself? 

It’s God who created me and formed me. Then we have to examine ourselves before the word of God. Living in the U.S. we can be easily be deceived. You cannot deceived by the words of the world. You have to know the standard. What is the walk of path that God wants you to walk? The standard is Bible. It’s the word of God. Only the Gospel is the truth. You have to refer to other people’s words but they are not the truth. The life we live once for all is precious. I bless you in the name of Jesus to examine yourselves with the word of God. 

Is the Immanuel New York Church the church that God desires? What is the standards? There is the standard. The Bible tells you through the early church. 2000 years ago, God gave us the answer through the first century church. You are looking at the Bible which is written in the Acts. By reading Acts, you want to examine yourselves and examine our church. With this time schedule, we came to reading Acts 9. 

Acts 9 describes how God tells message to Paul through Ananias. Acts 9:15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go this man is my chosen instrument to carry my name” 
Ananias had no idea either. God prepared Paul as historical worker, but Ananias did not know either, because Paul was someone who persecute the church and evangelist. When you look at the people around you, you may judge them as “she/he is not a worker of God”. Even when you look at yourself, you may mistaken as “I am not someone whom God prepared”. Ananias had no idea who Paul was. But God tells, “Don’t be afraid and go Act 9:15 because this man is a chosen instrument who will raise the remnants. Even Ananias had no idea, but he obeyed to the Holy Spirit 

Today’s message is “worker that God has prepared’. Who is the worker whom God prepared? Let us ask each other. “Did God really call you?” I have assurance that Acts9:15 is given to me. I know that God chose me to share the Gospel with 237 nations. I thought I was not. But  the time schedule has come. Recently, I keep meeting pastors from multi-ethnic nations and they keep on changing. These pastors are transformed and become one within Christ. During the next missions conference, I am bringing these 3 Pakistani pastors. If there is one pastor with the Gospel, the country will be changed. I want you believe that through our church, multi-ethnics are being changed. God has chosen us for 237 nations. 

Then who is the worker whom God prepared? Am I truly that worker that God prepared? Let us go back to the Word of God.

1. The person who realized God’s grace

It’s a person who knows and realizes the grace of the Gospel. If you truly realize the Gospel, your life will change. There is a clear difference between religion and the Gospel. For 20 years, I lived a religious life. But 24 years ago, I met an evangelist and realized the Gospel. As I was going around the world, I realized that there are so many people who do not know the Gospel. They perfectly understood and memorized the Bible, but they do not know the Gospel. People think that going to seminary and studying the Bible a lot will give you the Gospel. However, that may not be the case for all. This is shown through Paul. 

Paul thought that he was had a firm belief. Philippians 3:5-6, he confesses. “I am Hebrew of Hebrew.” Among the Israelites, they choose Pharisee who are chosen as leaders. “Among the Pharisees I was the best Pharisees”. How well did he follow the word of God? He followed every single law written by Moses. Paul thought that he was living his walk of faith very well. But for him, nothing was taking place. He was a religious person. But there came a limitation for Paul. There are so many church goers who have lived this religious life, but came to a limitation. I pray and bless you to enjoy the Gospel. God’s absolute goal is so that you realize this Gospel accurately and enjoy it. 

Religion is made by man. People of religion start from themselves. It starts from themselves and performance of their lives. The Gospel is the opposite. God has come to meet you. Purpose of Gospel is God to meet you. Religion is to empty themselves. I pray that you stop telling someone to empty themselves. When you look at Matthew 12, there comes 12 evil spirits. All religion, they try to empty their minds. What happens to them? Once they empty their mind, the evil spirit occupy their mind. As such, they come to live religious life. Religious life is worshipping the evil spirit and try feverishly. They try with zeal. But the more you live religious life, the more limitation you hit. When Paul was living religious life, he really zealous. He tried to meet all Moses’ law. He thought that he was living a good walk of life by putting Christians into prison. What was the result of that? 

Romans 7:24 “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?”. This in other words is “Oh my God”. This is expression used here. Nothing was working out for him. As he was full of knowledge, he was having hard time. If your walk of faith becomes difficult, you have to examine yourselves. You have to see whether you are walking a religious life. I used to be very hard working and zealous towards the work of God. Nothing worked out for me. I thought my parents will come back to the Lord if I work hard. I want you to realize this one more time. When Paul hit the limitation, that is when God came to Paul. 

Gospel is when the Lord God comes to you. When nothing was working out for Moses, God came to him in the wilderness. God came to you to realize the grace of the Gospel. When you come to believe in this Lord Jesus, that is when you receive salvation. 

Acts 9:3 “As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.” That is when Paul finally meets Jesus. When Paul was going his way to persecute Christians, this light comes upon him. What is this light? The Acts records about this light for three times. 

When you look at acts 9:22, a great light shone upon him. When you look at Acts 22:6, ““About noon as I came near Damascus, suddenly a bright light from heaven flashed around me.” he confesses before King Agrippa. He said that he was on the way to persecute Christian, but the light lighter than sun was shining upon him. 

John 1:9 talks about this true light. There was this light that shone to every man. This is true light, Jesus Christ. Why did Bible describe him as light? Because those people who were separated from God living a religious life are caught up on the darkness. Those who are living the religious life cannot escape from this. 

They cannot come out of their own path. If you are living the religious life, three things do not take place for them. No matter how zealously you are living the religious life, you can never solve sins, curses, hell and separation problems. When you are coming to Manhattan, don’t you see the people who are caught up in something? I always see people who are caught up by the Satan. Nothing can save you. True light can only save you. The person who resolve come across Paul. 

The main figure is the king of King Jesus Christ. After resurrection, he came to Paul. What makes him realize? He came to make him realize Jesus the Christ. Paul knew everything except this thing. He did not know Jesus Christ who died on the cross. When this light came upon Paul, he completely kneeled upon him. “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? Acts 9:4. If something is not working out for you, I pray that you kneel before God. “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting”. Because Paul was persecuting him. 

When you meet this Jesus, all the problems will be resolved. When Paul did not know this Jesus, he was ceased by the darkness. If you are ceased by darkness, you can succeed. But whenever you succeed, you will crumble like the tower of Babel. When you live like this as a church goer, I pray that you hear God’s voice and kneel down before the Lord. 

“I am Jesus whom you are persecuting”. Paul knew what the Christ meant. But he did not know Jesus was the Christ. He knew that the Christ was someone who can absolutely do this destroying of the work of the Satan. The Christ is the true King who broke the curses of Stan. When you realize that Jesus is the true King whom God completely destroyed, the forces of darkness will completely flee. He is the true Priest, who saved you from sins and curses. Paul completely kneeled to that. 

Why is the Mount Calvary the Gospel of the cross?  Why is Jesus the Gospel? Because he completely resolved sins, curses, and hell. That’s why John 19:30 (When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit) notes that the Gospel: “It is finished”. What did He finish? That in the old testament Christ will come and will resolve sins and curses. Paul knew this. This Christ came. That he resolved all sins and curses on the cross. Whenever I confess this, I am completely stricken. 

Whenever I share with the multi-ethnic, all the forces of darkness crumble. There is this Filipino at the evangelism school. When people come to the U.S. they come to succeed. She came as a nurse. She went to the church for 10 years, but met someone who was living fervent religious life, you will really suffer. Nothing worked out for her. When she got married, she had so much spiritual problem, but got married. If you don’t really understand the Gospel, you may be deceived. She was perceived was someone who was living a good faith life. For those who are not married, you have to be careful. Before getting married you would do things for the other person in an effort convince her/him. After getting married, things change. 

She finally came across a evangelist. Then all has resolved. She came to conclusion that Jesus came as the Christ who resolved all issues. She came to realized John 19. She heard it once, but she realized. She was completely set free. 

She is currently working at a shelter. She is evangelizing and transforming so may people there. When you come to meet this Jesus Christ, your life will change. I brought this Filipino  with me to give testimony to this pastor. She briefly shared her life story. She came to know Jesus Christ. She said “It is finished” Acts 19:30. She said it with such strength that this pastor kept saying “Amen Amen”. I ask all of you. Do you know the Gospel? Jesus is the Christ! He is the solver of ALL problems! Because we cannot resolve anything on our own, God came to you instead. God died on the cross for your sins. This is the Gospel. 


Once you believe, He will give you the eternal gift – holy spirit. All you have to do is believe. Eph 2:8, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,”  This is the confession of faith. Let us confess out loud. Eph 2:9 “not of works, lest anyone should boast”. It is by grace, not by works. Paul did not receive grace but by grace. It’s not because Paul had renown faith. It was through grace. Paul knew himself very well. He persecuted so many Christians. For the amount of the persecution he did, he had to be punished eternally. 

But because of grace, 1Cor15:10 “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

2. The person who realizes the Gospel and enjoys the Gospel is the worker of God. 

Once you realize the Gospel, you can find the “me” whom God made. What is the greatest answer? What is the absolute answer that God desires? It is finding yourselves. 
“I worked harder than any others”.  I pray that you can confess “I did this through God’s grace.” I want to encourage you to go into the Gospel and enter into this. I want you to enjoy this Gospel. When you understand this Gospel, you will find yourselves. What is the absolute Gospel? To find who you really are. So when Paul did not know the Gospel, he was completely lost. He found himself and found who he was. That’s the absolute answer he wants you to have. Don’t try to save others but save yourself and know who you really are. 

Why he was circumcised and why he fervently studied? It was all for the purpose of the Gospel and evangelism. Student remnants, you have to study diligently. You have to know the world. But that will not save other people. If you do not know the Gospel, you will end up persecuting the Lord. When do you realize the greatest value in your life? 

When you look at Phil3:7, I now consider loss for sake of Christ. I want you to forget about the past completely. 

Phil 3:8 notes, “What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ” 

What I am striving for is considered garbage compared to the blessing God is giving. All your scars, please forget about them. God has prepared your future. The moment you grab hold of the grace of God, the changes will start to take place. Once you realize the Gospel, everything is finished.  

After meeting Jesus, Paul confesses this way: Phil 3:8 “Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ”

Paul considered everything in the past as rubbish. It does not mean that those are not needed. He found something that is more valuable in life. He found Christ. “I gained Christ. I gained the greatest thing”. That is why he was able to let everything go and ??? Do not dwell on the past scars. Because those are the platform of the future prepared by God. After meeting Christ, you will understand the will of God. Acts 9:15, Paul finally realizes absolute mission. The life I live once, where should I invest ? 

Paul finally realizes. I truly pray that you mediate this Word of God. Let us confess this to each other Acts 9:15 “But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.”

It’s not that you chose God. King of the King, He chose you. That’s why you can become spiritual summit. John 15:16 (You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.) you didn’t choose me, I chose you. The resurrected God chose you. Jesus picked upon you. And once you choose this Gospel, you become spiritual Gospel. Within this Gospel, may you prepare this with the Gospel. The Lord chose you for three big goals. “You save the gentiles”. God called you to save 237 nations. We come to U.S. 

God called you to the most blessed place. You don’t even have to go. That I want you to encourage you to meet leaders. Once you really enjoy this Gospel, people above you at the work place will really eye on you. I want you to pray that you will come across someone top on the field. Because that is what God told you.

I changed after coming to the States.  I can easily have targeted children for evangelism, but when you look at Paul, he meets leaders in the region. This once, I went to missions in Panama. There was one missionary in Panama. He gave a testimony that this non-civilized tribe individuals were not changing as fast. So he prayed for this tribal leader. He realized that if he one tribe leader changes, everyone will change. When the tribal leader received the Gospel, all the region started to change.  Even if things seem to not work out, you have to follow the Word of God. I realized that “I am a missionary”, I have to meet the leader of the region. Breaking down this is easy. 
	
Then I prayed—I have to meet the pastors from 237 nations. So I started praying. God opened up the door to this non-Korean church. It is not me that is doing the work. I want you to believe that you are the spiritual summit who will save the 237 nations. I pray that you become the top in your field. 

Lastly, I want you to take remnants. This is our three prayer topic. 1. To evangelize for all nations. 2. Church officer saving the region 3. The one who will do the remnant movement for future. That’s the blessing that God has prepared. That you have been chosen as God’s instrument. You will receive this answer written in the Bible. 


“I am God’s chosen instrument”. Confess to each other “you are a chosen instrument of God”. 

Let’s pray for one minute. May I truly enter into the Gospel every day. May I find myself within the Gospel. May I truly find absolute goal of the Gospel.

But the Lord said to Ananias, "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel."
(Acts 9:22) proving that Jesus is the Messiah 

Jesus is the Christ and the Son of the living God.

1) Let us be free from the lifeless religion and deeply realize the gospel of God's grace 
2) Let us know that all problems and events of the past are the preparation of God and footsteps of the future
3) Let us find the greatest value of life in Christ 
4) Give thanks to God who made me a worker, and direct me to evangelism, missions, and remnant movements.

Pour out the filling of the Holy Spirit, spiritual power, physical strength, manpower, and economic power to pastors, church officers, remnants, and multi-ethnic people in Immanuel New York church. Let us win within the meditation of word and prayer.
